Jazz Albums

Instead of making a bunch of posts for all these jazz albums, I'm going to make one big post with them all.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue

Whether you're a big jazz fan or not, this album is amazing. Probably my favorite jazz album of all time. Extremely chill and mellow vibes. Would reccomend to anyone. Highlights are probably So What and Freddie Freeloader.

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
Another mellow album, pretty short as well, only three tracks. Probably the best of John Coltrane's albums. Very well done, flows smoothly, and very calming.

Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out

A little more upbeat then the previous too, but nonetheless a great album. One of the best tracks is Take Five; though the name doesn't sound familiar, most people have heard this song at some point or another.

Miles Davis - Bitches Brew

Probably Miles' most popular work, this is a less traditional jazz album, with a more psychedelic edge to it. The songs are a little more intense, but still excellent. The psychedelia and trippiness of it make it a good deviation from standard jazz works.

The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery - Wes Montgomery

Incredible jazz guitar, indeed. Basically one of the best guitar shredders in the jazz universe, this album is great for any jazz fan and for somebody who isn't a fan of standard piano and trumpet jazz.
